The result of the
energy expense calculation is APPROXIMATED and is based on the following considerations:
1) Residential Building:
- Each user performs 2 runs per day (up and down);
- Each run, as a rule, corresponds to half of the elevator's total rise;
- Each floor, as a rule, is 3 m. high;
- In part of the runs, the elevator does not spend energy
2) Office Building:
- Each user performs 6 runs per day;
- Each run, as a rule, corresponds to half of the elevator's total rise;
- Each floor, as a rule, is 3 m. high;
- In part of the runs, the elevator does not spend energy;
- This calculation is valid only for elevators in office buildings. It is NOT applicable
for shopping centers / malls
3) General considerations:
- Calculation is valid only for OTIS elevators;
- The result of the energy expense calculation is function of the number of runs performed
by the users
